Terms of Service

Last updated: draft, not yet published

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SnT AutoTool (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the company you represent ("Customer"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

SnT AutoTool discovers network topology, generates and runs test cases against Customer-designated network devices (via SSH and vendor CLIs), and reports results. Customer is solely responsible for authorizing which devices the Service may connect to and for the credentials it provides for that purpose.

3. Customer responsibilities

4. Acceptable use

Customer will not use the Service to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system, or to violate any applicable law or third party's rights. [Add a standard AUP list — no reverse engineering, no reselling access, no exceeding rate limits, etc.]

5. Service availability

[State whether and what uptime commitment, if any, is offered; whether there is a paid-tier SLA; and how scheduled maintenance is communicated. Do not leave this section templated if any customer is being sold an SLA commercially — it needs to match what's actually promised in the contract.]

6. Fees

[Describe pricing/billing terms, or reference a separate order form / contract, once a formal pricing model exists.]

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGE TO CUSTOMER NETWORK EQUIPMENT ARISING FROM TEST EXECUTION. [This clause in particular must be drafted and sized by counsel — this product runs commands against live customer network hardware, so the liability allocation here is one of the most important parts of the whole contract, not boilerplate.]

8. Termination

[Describe termination rights and what happens to Customer data on termination, consistent with the retention section of the Privacy Policy.]

9. Governing law

[Specify governing law and dispute resolution venue.]

10. Contact
